Community Outreach

At First Christian Church, we strive to be a source of comfort and outreach in our community. Jesus calls to love each other as we love ourselves... and more importantly, to love each other like Jesus loves us.

Near our parking lot, we have a giving fence, where we hang clothes, and a blessing box that we fill with food and toiletries for anyone in need.

All are welcome to give as they see fit. Below are some common items we share:

*Please make sure to put items in a plastic bag (plastic clothing bag, shopping bag, zip lock bag, etc.) to protect them from rain/snow.

Hygiene items (tooth brush/tooth paste, soap, deodorant, etc.)

Gifts of Love

Every month, we take up a collection of specific items and donate it to different local organizations. Some of these organizations include Hope House, Refuge for Hope, and LifeStream.

For February, we are collecting paper products, such as paper towels, paper plates, bathroom tissue, etc., which will then be distributed to Hope House and Refuge of Hope. If you'd like to participate, you can bring your items with you on Sunday morning or stop by anytime during office hours.
